Seeking proposals that demonstrate the use of the assessment cycle to improve student learning or drive institutional initiatives. Each proposal should state the impact of assessment on higher education in Colorado. Special consideration will be made for proposals that address the following target areas:

• Closing equity gaps
• Incorporating high-impact practices
• Significant institutional impact, either through targeting multiple sections of a course or use in broad initiatives
• Assessment of institutional common learning outcomes
• Case Study…discussion on using data to improve student learning

Presentation formats:
50-minute session
The 50-minute session is appropriate for presentations, workshops, or panels to share the use of assessment practices and resulting actions.

Poster Session:
Share results from your HLC Assessment Academy or share your research and best practices. Posters will be set up in a community area throughout the duration of the conference. During a specified break, presenters will be encouraged to attend their poster to share insights and respond to questions. Your poster should quickly and efficiently communicate your research, findings, and best practices. Unlike the fast pace of a slide show or verbal presentation, the Poster Session allows viewers to study and restudy your information and discuss it with you one-on-one.Session proposals will be accepted until 11:59 pm on Friday, February 3rd. For questions about the submission process, contact Derek Grubb at derek.grubb@rrcc.edu
