Guaranteed Transfer Pathways


Below you will find a template syllabus for each Guaranteed Transfer (GT) Pathways category. The text in red font is explanatory and should not be included in syllabi. The text in black font is required in every GT Pathways instructor’s syllabus per State Board for Community Colleges and Occupational Education (SBCCOE) and Colorado Commission on Higher Education (CCHE).

Individual colleges may require additional information. Please contact your VPI/CAO for specific college requirements.


The due dates below indicate when currently approved GT Pathways courses in the CCNS must be revised to include new GT Pathways requirements and submitted to the System for re-approval and then to CDHE for inclusion in the state database of approved GT Pathways courses.

Disciplines are strongly encouraged to submit courses early

The Colorado Department of Higher Education (CDHE), on behalf of its governing board, the Colorado Commission on Higher Education (CCHE), is implementing a new GT Pathways course review/approval process with which all institutions shall comply. The resubmission of GT Pathways courses for re-approval is necessitated by revised GT
Pathways content criteria and competencies that Colorado faculty worked on for the past several years and that were approved by CCHE on June 2, 2016. (Click here for more information.)

The GT Pathways CCNS Course Submission Template below is the approved template for GT Pathways courses. The template shall be used to submit changes to your College Curriculum Committee.  The template shall be used for existing or new GT Pathways courses.
